Where we are based

Our office is at 2 The Square, Solihull, B91 3RB, in the historic core of Solihull town centre. Opening hours are Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 17:15. The nearest public car parks are Mell Square and Touchwood, both under five minutes' walk. We are around a seven-minute walk from Solihull railway station via Poplar Road.

Inside the Solihull Metropolitan Borough

We act for clients across the whole of Solihull MBC. The borough is administered by Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council from Manor Square in Solihull. Coverage is organised by postcode:

- Solicitors in Solihull (B91) — Solihull town centre, Sharmans Cross, Hillfield, Lode Heath, Cranmore and St Alphege.

- Solicitors in Shirley (B90) — Shirley, Haslucks Green, Monkspath, Whitlock's End, Solihull Lodge, Majors Green, Tidbury Green and the northern edge of B90.

Adjacent villages and areas outside Solihull MBC

We regularly act for clients in the villages immediately outside the borough, particularly along the A3400 corridor south of Dorridge and to the east into the CV7 postcode. These are not inside Solihull MBC, but they are inside our practical service area and we treat them as part of our natural catchment.

How we work with clients across the catchment

Whichever area you live in, the way we run a matter is the same:

- A named solicitor throughout. You deal with the same solicitor from first meeting to final file — no rotating case-handlers.

- Choice of meeting format. In person at 2 The Square, at your home by prior arrangement (particularly for older clients or where mobility is a factor), by video, or by telephone.

- Fixed fees where a fixed fee makes sense. Standard wills, LPAs, uncontested probate under a value threshold, residential conveyancing, no-fault divorce (undefended) and standard settlement-agreement advice are quoted on a fixed-fee basis. Everything else is quoted with a written estimate before any chargeable work begins.

- Clear client care. A written client-care letter setting out scope, fees, funding options and complaints procedure is issued before any chargeable work begins.

We are a licensed body (ABS) authorised and regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority, SRA number 423097, and we carry professional indemnity insurance in excess of the SRA minimum.

Frequently asked questions

Do you only act for clients inside the Solihull Metropolitan Borough?
No. Solihull MBC is our home catchment and where most of our clients live, but we regularly act for clients in the villages immediately outside the borough — particularly along the A3400 corridor south of Dorridge (Hockley Heath, Tanworth-in-Arden) and to the east in the CV7 postcode (Berkswell, Balsall Common, Meriden). We also have dedicated conveyancing and probate service pages covering Birmingham, Sutton Coldfield, Coventry, Warwick, Stratford and Leamington Spa.

Do you charge more for clients outside the borough?
No. There is no borough-boundary uplift on our fees. Where a matter involves travel — for example a home visit outside the immediate Solihull area — we will discuss any reasonable travel cost with you before it is incurred.

Do you offer home visits?
Yes, by prior arrangement, particularly for older or less mobile clients across the borough and the immediate adjacent villages. Will-signing and LPA-signing appointments in particular are often best done at home.

How do I know which of your location pages applies to me?
The location pages are organised by postcode district — B90 Shirley, B91 Solihull town centre, B92 Olton and Hampton-in-Arden and Barston, B93 Knowle and Dorridge, B94 Hockley Heath and Tanworth-in-Arden. If your postcode is not on any of these pages, please call the office on 0121 270 2700 and we will confirm the right point of contact.
